in particular standing out. In the third quarter Harry Lacchiana finally managed to score Surrey’s first major, to have us 1.3 to 7.8 at three quarter time. With the season on the line the boys threw it all at the Eagles in the last, and managed to score five goals to one and the pressure was well and truly on our opponents, but time ran out and the season drew to an end.
For Surrey, Harry Lacchiana kicked three goals, and in his first season up from the Colts was our leading gaol kicker with 24 for the year. Our other goal kickers on the day were James Box, Tom Veitch and Liam Mooney. Our best were Ben Peters, Dan Smart, Harry Lacchiana, James Marshall and James Box.
So congratulations to the team on their season, these boys are the future of our club and we look forward to seeing you all back next year, whether that be stepping into the senior ranks or returning in the 19’s.
There are two other Surrey Park teams playing this weekend, in Grand Finals.

The 13’s game is at 10:15 while the U14’s play straight after at 12.30 with Surrey Park Senior Players Dean Spencer coaching with his able Assistant, Under 19’s player Liam Mooney.
If you can get down and support the players, and club, please do.

One final note of thanks to all of our wonderful Sponsors, Members and Supporters, without which we would not have a viable, competitive club to support each week. We have made strong inroads as a club in 2016, both off-field and on-field. We look forward to continuing to engage with you all in the off-season as we prepare ourselves for the New Year and the opportunities that will be there for our club to grab.
Go Surrey!
