The Grafton Tigers' fast, attack-based game plan will be will be unleashed on North Coffs in the opening round of the North Coast AFL season today.
While fitness concerns hampered any chance of a pacy, counter-attacking style in the past, Tigers coach Adrian Campbell says fans should be prepard for action.
And it starts today.
"It's going to be some really exciting footy," Campbell said yesterday.
"We have got some quality players all over the park, so I think we will be a good show this year."
While Campbell has limited knowledge of North Coffs, a traditionally strong squad, that will be unlikely to play a role in the Tigers'strategic set-up.
All clubs were forced to adjust their styles following the decision by the North Coast AFL to reduce on-field numbers from 18 to 16 per team this season.
But that will play into Grafton's hands.
"I reckon we'll go very well," Campbell said.
