Your special M2002 World Masters Games voucher will ONLY be valid at the Opening Ceremony on 6th October 2002.
The vouchers will be available for all competitors, officials, volunteers, and accredited people.
To receive your voucher, a letter of acceptance from the 2002 World Masters Games must be presented. The person receiving the voucher will be required to sign a log when receiving the voucher, one voucher per person. These vouchers will only be valid on the Opening Ceremony day 6th October 2002
Vouchers will be distributed by:
1. Participants can pick up their vouchers at the Ballarat Visitor Information Centre located at 39 Sturt Street, Ballarat, Phone 1800-44-66-33. (500 Vouchers) From 1st 5th October, between the hours of 09:00 17:00.
Once these limited vouchers are distributed, there will be NO additional vouchers available. Competitors will then need to find their own transport.
Spencer Street Station Arrivals
All competitors arriving from regional centres of Geelong, Bendigo and Ballarat via the V/Line Train service will arrive at the Spencer Street Station in Melbourne.
On arrival at the Spencer Street Station platform, participants will exit the station. World Masters Games (WMG) Volunteers will be located in the tunnel under Spencer Street Station. The volunteers will point people in the direction of the World Masters Games Registration Centre at the World Trade Centre.
A volunteer will lead the bulk of the competitors down Spencer Street and across the Pedestrian Bridge (over Flinders Street) to the Games Centre. The Games Centre is located about 400 meters down Spencer Street, which is a short walk.
World Trade Centre
The Melbourne World Trade Centre will house the 2002 World Masters Games Centre. The Centre is located on Siddeley Street in Melbourne. This is located only 150 meters from the Corner of Flinders Street and Spencer (Clarendon) Street. It is located across the Street from the Victoria Police Centre and behind the Melbourne Convention Centre.
Melbourne Arrival Information
Your special World Masters Games voucher will ONLY be valid at the Opening Ceremony on 6th October 2002.
You must have your voucher ready for inspection when:
* On board the Train and when you Exit Spencer Street Train Station in Melbourne.
* On the Return trip at Richmond Train Station.

13:32 Arrive Spencer Street Station, and walk to Games Centre
12:15 Begin Accreditation at Games Centre (Melbourne World Trade Centre)
14:00 Catch tram or walk at Spencer & Flinders Street
15:00 Arrive at MCG (Go to Gates 2,3,4, & 5, the Olympic Stand)
17:00 Opening Ceremony Starts

Melbourne Departure Information
For the return train trip, please make your way to the Richmond Train Station. Please make sure that immediately following the conclusion of the Opening Ceremony at the MCG; you make your way to the Richmond Train Station as quick as possible for your specific train departure. The walk from the MCG to Richmond Station is approximately 10 minutes.
You must have your Special World Masters Games Voucher ready for inspection when:
* You enter Richmond Train Station;
* On board the train for your return trip.

General Information
* Tickets for these services cannot be purchased and only those with a Special World Masters Games voucher may travel.
* Everyone with a voucher, who is travelling on the return trip to regional locations, must be aware that the trains are Special Charter Trains.
* Once the train has departed, there will be no additional Melbourne 2002 World Masters Games transport to Ballarat.
* The train will run express to Ballarat; it will NOT stop at Flinders Street Train Station or Spencer Street Train Station.
