SHOOTING - NOTICE TO ALL COUNTRIES
Please be reminded that the Melbourne 2005 Deaflympic Games Shooting Events will comply with the 2004 ISSF Rules & Regulations NOT the new
1 January 2005 ISSF Rules & Regulations.
We have received Final Entries from all countries and we wish to inform you that we will only have
six (6) events:
* 10 metre Air Pistol
* 10 metre Air Rifle
* 25 metre Rapid Fire Pistol
* 50 metre Free Pistol
* 50 metre Free Rifle - 60 shot Prone
* 50 metre Free Rifle - 3 x 40 shots
*** We will NOT run the 25 metre Standard Pistol and 25 metre Air Pistol ***
Some countries entered the 25 metre Standard Pistol and 25 metre Air Pistol. This is incorrect.
Please go to the DEAFLYMPICS website and print out the new Entry Forms for Shooting and fax M2005 on +61 3 9649 7077.
Please ensure you have filled out all necessary permits and forms to allow your firearms to be imported into Australia. All the permits and forms can be downloaded from our Shooting website. Additionally, the Team Information Handbook we sent to all countries in September contains a copy of all the permits. Please ensure you fill out everything before you leave your country.
When you arrive in Melbourne, you will be responsible to transport your firearms to the Melbourne International Shooting Club. More information will be posted on our Shooting website next week.
