After a great day on the beach, our athletes were awarded their medals and enjoyed their moment in the sun. On behalf of the athletes and organizers, Belau Wrestling Federation (BWF) would like to thank our athletes, their families, volunteers, coaches, officials and most especially our sponsors that really helped us kick off the camp and made it successful from the beginning to end. Special thanks goes out to Franco Gibbons, Koror State Governor and his dedicated staff for their commitment and overall support in helping us organize this event. Throughout the camp, Koror State provided the food, transportation for the kids and sand needed for the Beach Wrestling Competition. We are most grateful to our other sponsors to include Palau NOC for providing the medals, WCTC for the banners and stickers, Dixie Tmetuchel for allowing us to use Riptide as our venue, Kaleb Udui & Associates, NECO Plaza Corporation and Franson Gibbons for their contributions as well. Special thanks also goes out to United World Wrestling (UWW) for their continued support to our wrestling program and the regular updates on the beach wrestling rules, updates and other developments in helping us develop and promote Beach Wrestling in Palau. Because Beach Wrestling is becoming very popular, we plan to organize and host another event before the end of the year.
