On day 2 of the men and women freestyle wrestling, the Oceania countries went up against the Asian countries. All of the matches were very tough and intense rounds. Representing Palau was Florian Skilang Temengil who wrestled Raja Al Krad of Syria in the mens freestyle 125kg. During the first period of the match both wrestlers were scoreless as they muscled and defended their position. The official awarded 1 point to Syria for passivity against Palau. During the 2nd period of the match Al Krad was able to score 4 points on a tackle and 2 more points later in the match. Temengil scored 2 points as well on his opponent. By the end of the 2nd period Syria would be victorious against Palau for the win with a score of 9-3. Al krad would go on to defeat Tetsuya Tanaka of Japan by 10-0 in the quarter finals. Wurenbilige of China would defeat Al Krad by 8-0 in the semi-finals. In the end, Al Krad would win the bronze medal after defeating his opponent from Turkmenistan by 10-0. Winning the gold medal in this heavy weight division was Modzmanashvili of Uzbekistan, Wurunbilige of China silver medal and Mohebi of Iran winning bronze and Al Krad winning bronze as well. Overall, Temengil ranked 12 out of 16 wrestlers.
In the mens freestyle 61kg, Cristian Etpison Nicolescu competed against Zubaidullah Timori of Afghanistan. Timori would score 4 points on Nicolescu in an unexpected move that would catch Nicolescu on his back for the win. Timori would go on to wrestle Alibek of Kyrgyzstan but lose 10-0. Eventually Iman Sadeghikoukandeh of Iran would win the gold medal, Myrador of Turkmenistan the silver medal and both bronze medals went to Orazow of Turkmenistan and Tomar of India. Nicolescu would rank 10 out of 13 wrestlers.
On day 3, Palau will have Blesam Tarkong, Cristian Nicolescu and Skarley Renguul compete in the Greco Roman.
