Venue Information
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is an international standard sporting venue, and is one of the largest integrated sports and leisure complexes in Australia. The venue will play host to several sports during the Melbourne 2002 World Masters Games, allowing competitors to get a taste of some of the other sports being played at the Games.
The 50 metre competition pool has ten lanes numbered 1 through to 0, so dont be confused if you end up being allocated in Lane 0; that does not mean youre not in the race. Lockers are available for hire in the swimming pool area. Separate male and female change rooms are provided.
How to get there
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is located on Aughtie Drive (near the corner of Albert Road) in Albert Park and is easily accessed by boarding a Number 112 tram from Collins Street or a Number 96 light rail from Bourke Street in the city.
