When will the draw be available?
Draws are now posted on this site. Individuals will be posted when available.
What events will be played on what days?
Teams Event: 5-8th October
Singles: 9/10th October
Doubles: 11th October
Mixed Doubles: 12th October
What is the format of events?
All events will be in a round robin format. 35-39 age category will play first, with medals presented after the finals of each event.
Men's Singles,Men's Doubles, Ladies Doubles & Mixed Doubles the scoring is Round Robin 1 game to 21 points. Ladies singles will be played to 15 points with no setting.
In all individual events, in the playoff round setting is allowed.
What are the clothing rules?
Competitors may wear clothing of any colour.
What is the situation if there aren't enough players in my age group
You will play in a lower age group. As long as you compete in that age group, no matter where you finish you will receive a medal for your age category
What are the maximum number of players a team can bring with them?
Teams can bring an unlimited number of players with them. The team sheet must be submitted prior to the match commencing
Can I play my team in any order?
Yes, you can play your team in any order.
What is the format of the Teams Event?

Can I play down in a lower age group?
Yes, but only in a maximum of three individual events.
Can I play in more than one division?
Yes
What if there is a tie?
Points will be divided for/against and a percentage worked out.
What if I don't have a partner?
If you wrote "Required" on your entry form, you will be matched with a partner when the draw is undertaken.
Are the venues available for practice prior to the event?
Yes, both venues are available. You can phone MSAC on (03) 9926 1555 or Altona on (03) 9391 0880 for times,cost and bookings
What type and speed of shuttle will be used
RSL with speeds varying depending on temperature
What if my family/friends want to come and watch me play?
FREE There is no charge for spectators
