About The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre
MSAC is a multi-sport venue situated on the Albert Park Lake, 4.5 km from the Central Business District.
MSAC was host to the 2002 World Masters Games, and will be one of the key venues for the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Currently MSAC is undergoing a $50 million upgrade including a new 50m outdoor pool in preparation for the 2007 FINA World Swimming Championships.

About Table Tennis
The 18 courts Table Tennis Hall, which is home to many National events, will be used during the Deaflympics Games. The Hall will be set up into 8 international size courts (14m x 7m) for the Deaflympic Games. With 5 additional warm up courts.
Air conditioning: No, ventilation only.
Seating: 64 - 128
Equipment: Stiga 3 star white table tennis balls. Stiga tables and nets.
Table Dimensions: Length 2.47m x width 1.525m and 76cm above floor level. Net is 15.25cm above playing surface.
Court Dimensions: 14m long x 7m wide.
Official Pre Games Training
Dates: 2-5 January 2005
Times: 0900-1700.
Session time will be 2hrs

Athletes will be responsible to supply their own equipment.
Games Time Training
5 practice tables available on all days of competition.
Teams can train from 0800-0900 every morning of competition.
Athletes will be responsible to supply their own balls.
Assistive Devices
There will be no additional assistive devices used for the Table tennis Competition. All umpires will ensure all points are hand signalled.
Additional Information
There will be a ventilated gluing room adjacent to the practice courts.
All athletes will need to supply their own glue and equipment for repairing bats.
