* When will we be notified of the draw?
Your team managers will be notified of the draws at the sport specific technical meeting.
* Where is the gluing room? Do we need to bring our own glue?
The gluing room is located at the back of the table tennis hall, immediately adjacent to the training courts. Yes you need to bring your own glue and supplies to repair your bats.
* Do I need to bring my own equipment for training i.e. Balls?
Yes, all athletes are required to bring their own balls for Pre Games and Games Time Training. We will only provide the nets and tables.
* How can I travel to MSAC for Pre Games Training and competition?
Transport for competing athletes staying at Official Hotels will be provided free of charge as a part of their accommodation package. There will be shuttle services between hotels and venues. For non-competing athletes and athletes not staying in the official accommodation, Public transport options will be available on our website shortly.
* Are there any facilities where we can train during competition?
During competition time training is available for all sports. Specific information regarding time availabilities and booking procedures will be available on the individual sport websites by early December.
* If I require medical assistance outside of competition time, who do I contact?
Please refer to the `Deaflympics Handbook.' Enclosed is an extensive referral network, detailing various health practitioners. These contacts will also be available on the individual Deaflympic sport websites. We will not be responsible for medical assistance outside competition.
* How do we obtain current, up to date competition results?
Results can be easily obtained from our website,
www.2005deaflympics.com, on Result Boards at all Venues or at the Games Centre.
* Will doping tests be conducted during the Deaflympic Games?
M2005 has contracted Australian Sports Drug Agency to conduct random tests for all sports. For further details please refer to the CISS Anti-Doping Rules and the Anti Doping Guidelines found in the Athletes Handbook.
* With my accreditation pass can I access all other competition Games venues?
You will be able to watch other sports, depending on capacity. The majority of venues are non-ticketed and you will be able to access these venues free of charge. A Games Accreditation Pass will allow access only to the competition areas for the particular sport you are involved in.
